Planning permission was granted to allow the conversion of an old stable block and hayloft into holiday accommodation.

Bat surveys identified that the hayloft was being used by small numbers of brown long eared and common pipistrelle bats. Under a Welsh Government bat development licence, the building was converted with a dedicated bat roost above the hay loft. The owners also agreed to enhance the site for bats by including additional roosting opportunities in a new biomass boiler house constructed nearby.
